Lenten Sunday & St. Patrick's Day (Sunday, 3/15/2026) - 10.30am (Hybrid)
This week (3/15/2026) in worship, we joyfully wove elements after St. Patrick’s traditions into our Sunday worship service on 3/15 with wonderful music leadership and creating a meaningful space of reflection, learning, and celebration. Together, we read the Gospel text from John 9, the story of the man born blind. It was powerful to notice how many misguided questions were asked of Jesus simply because he chose to heal. In response, the sermon invited us into a grounded, relatable theological reflection that proclaimed the good news of God’s boundless love through everyday illustrations and lived experiences.
We were especially blessed by our music minister, who shared excerpts from the Confessions of St. Patrick along with stories from his own life growing up in Ireland. Hearing these words in his original localized accent brought a rich and personal dimension to our worship. We also welcomed at least ten visitors this Sunday, and our coffee fellowship afterward became a warm, conversational space of connection and hospitality.
